The Flying Stickleys

The Flying Stickleys...are an eclectic group of personalities who possess a unique way of interpreting their roots in jazz, blues, and rock. With their presence and rare chemistry, The Flying Stickleys features Fred Stickley on keyboards and vocals. Fred honed his songwriting and performance skills while living in L.A. and touring at home and abroad with A&M recording artist John Hiatt. Also featured is Lisa Mann on bass and lead vocals. Lisa who recently received the Cascade Blues Association's Muddy Waters Award for "Best Bass Player for 2001," is also Tualatin Valley's (Oregon) Water Commissioner. Jesse Schmunk on guitar, is an impressive talent. Before joining The Flying Stickley's Jesse performed and recorded with the Curtis Salgado Band. Jeff Frankel on drums and vocals, is a veteran musician from NYC and San Francisco, and has toured the country with the likes of Cold Blood, Bob Weir, and Maria Muldair. Fred Stickley knows how to craft a winning song. His melodies are filled with wit, whimsy, and emotion. His unique creative soul is brought forth through his sweet voice and dynamic technical skill.
